As a Business Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing administrative support to the ICT Business Services Department and the wider ICT Department. The role
We are seeking a Business Support Team Leader to join our dynamic team and lead a small team of staff. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Administration activities of the Digital, Data and Technology directorate. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support on a day-to-day basis to the Business Services Manager as well as providing a wider Departmental support function when required. The role will ensure administrative functions and process are implemented, managed, and maintained to the agreed standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the largest police force in Wales.
Responsibilities:
* Managing and coordinating administrative duties for the Business Services Manager and wider Department.
* Co-ordinating Mandatory training and maintaining a Skills matrix
* Co-ordinating Recruitment and Selection processes
* Arranging travel itineraries, accommodation, and transport
* Coordinating and managing meetings, taking notes, and following up on action points.
* Processing and monitoring Health & Safety correspondence
* Preparing, collating, and distributing reports and briefings
* Providing support to senior management as required
* Ensure administrative functions and process are implemented, managed, and maintained to the agreed standards.
Requirements:
* Must have a good standard of education to at least GCSE A-C Level, including Maths and English or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities.
* Previous experience in a similar administrative role
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* A high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
