Job Summary
We are currently seeking Paramedics registered with the HCPC and Pharmacists registered with the GPhC to work on a bank basis during the flu season. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking clinical duties relating to immunisation, delivered on‑site in primary and secondary schools and in community clinic settings. Nurses work mainly from Monday to Friday between 08:30‑15:00/15:30 with some evening and Saturday clinic work available. Saturdays are paid at time and a third.
Main duties of the job
* Vaccinate 20‑25 school children per hour (flu season)
* Work collaboratively to support the team, organisation, and company stakeholders, to facilitate smooth continuity of service delivery

Job Responsibilities
* Promote and support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service
* Support Programme Managers, Team Lead and Clinical Lead as applicable
* Attend sites across different locations as applicable
* Deliver an effective, evidence‑based and competent level of care to patients
* Participate in clinical supervision and staff development
* Ensure all clinical incidents, near misses and complaints are reported, monitored and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures
* Participate in audits, making recommendations based on findings and sharing outcomes with the team for learning
* Attend clinical supervision with the Clinical Lead as directed
* Actively and constructively contribute to team meetings
* Undertake Gillick Competency Assessments and take verbal consent from parents and caregivers
* Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position
* Comply with Company policies & procedures
Qualifications
* Pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Paramedics and Physiotherapists registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
* Optometrists registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
Essential Experience:
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Working within PGD frameworks
* Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule
* Understanding of and implementing the principles of informed consent
* Computer literate
* Cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport

* Able to drive
