1. Provide effective leadership: Motivate, train, and support care staff through supervision, feedback, leading shifts, monitoring care practices, and role modeling high standards.
2. Support daily living: Assist with activities such as personal care and administering medication, ensuring residents' comfort, wellbeing, and safety.
3. Person-centred care: Develop care plans tailored to each resident's individual needs.
4. Build relationships: Establish supportive connections with residents, their families, and colleagues.
You may already have experience working with older adults in residential or nursing settings, but it's not essential. We provide all necessary training to become a great Senior Care Assistant. What's most important is that you have the right values, skills, and motivation to deliver high-quality care.
* Qualification: Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), or be working towards it, or willing to do so in the role.
* Proven track record: Experience supporting adults or children in health, social care, or teaching environments.
* Passion and dedication: A genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact.
* Self-motivation: Committed to learning and personal development to provide the best care.
* Leadership skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and support colleagues, demonstrating excellent standards of care.
