An experienced and commercially driven Credit Manager is sought to strengthen the Central Finance Team here at their HO to support the company to achieve its ongoing profitable growth strategy.
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys full operational/business involvement and contact with other HO colleagues as well as proactive interaction across the business to deliver positive commercial outcomes.
Manage, coach and develop a cohesive and well-motivated Credit Control team.
Regular review and development of credit control policies and procedures.
Develop KPI's to clearly report and analyse optimal efficiency levels relating to positive collections and cashflow management.
Work closely with senior managers and sales teams to meet customer account payment terms and frameworks.
Provide guidance and support to the team on assessing the creditworthiness of customers through credit checks and analysis.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address any credit-related issues.
Attend the weekly cash flow meeting and report on credit performance, highlighting any outstanding credit issues.
Implement effective strategies for managing overdue accounts and mitigating bad debts.
Strong track record of managing Credit Control teams and processes.
Commercial awareness of the professional relationships across the business.
Strong IT and report writing skills.
