Job Overview
We are looking for a capable person with good people skills to actively support and promote Blythswood's Christian ethos through practical service, prayerful presence and local outreach whilst managing the day-to-day operations of our charity shop in Finaghy. This is a part time post. You will work 24 hours over 4 days or 30 hours over five days, between Monday and Saturday, with some extra hours expected from time to time to cover holidays and sickness and to help out in other local shops.
You will manage all aspects of running a charity shop.
Qualifications
* Retail experience would be helpful, and experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage, but more importantly we are seeking someone who can lead with care, build positive relationships, and serve with commitment to the mission.
* This role has an Occupational Requirement in line with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. The post holder should have a genuine and active Christian faith and church commitment and can fully subscribe to the charity's Statement of Faith.
