Junior / Trainee Building Services Engineer (Electrical Design)
Salary: 26,000 – 30,000. Hybrid working, bonus, private healthcare, 25 days holiday, and benefits. Location: Newcastle upon Tyne.
Are you from an electrical design background looking to kickstart your career in the world of building services, within a company that will invest in you by fully funding a Building Services Degree?
In this office-based role you will work on electrical design projects ranging from 5k to 3.5m in value, working hands‑on with design and overseeing budgets and timelines. This will involve designing HV/LV, network distribution, lighting, and fire and security systems, for example.
You will attend work 4 days a week, then take 1 day a week to attend university, which will be fully funded by the company.

The Role
* Working on electrical designs, specifications, and attending site meetings
* Involved with lighting, alarm systems, HV/LV and network distribution
* 70% design work, whilst overseeing projects including budgets and timescales
* Attending university 1 day a week for a degree in Building Services, funded by the company
* Hybrid working available, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week with flexible working
