Overview
As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing pre-construction planning and the day-to-day management of construction sites. You\'ll ensure projects are delivered to customer objectives while upholding the highest standards of health & safety, quality, environmental management, and cost control.
Responsibilities
* Manage site activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery in line with contract requirements.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including risk assessments and method statements.
* Lead daily coordination with foremen, supervisors, and trades to monitor resources, productivity, and programme progress.
* Resolve technical challenges, drive continuous improvement, and ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
* Produce and communicate method statements, forecasts, and progress reports to support effective site management.
* Monitor performance against programme and budget, proactively managing risks and implementing corrective actions where needed.
* Liaise with clients, third parties, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
Requirements
* Previous experience in the water industry (preferred)
* Strong pre-mobilisation planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
* Effective leader with the ability to motivate teams and drive high standards of compliance
* Excellent operational planning and time management; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Solid knowledge of construction practices, standards, and specifications
* Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering project and operational performance
