Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Transmission & Distribution Team on one of our Transmission Networks contracts.
Want to come and be a part of it?
We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.
What will you be doing?
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be driving and maintaining different types of site vehicles such as Telescopic Fork lift trucks (Telehandlers), taking care of the daily site activities and deliveries whilst completing driving tasks associated with the contract. You will ensure that all duties are performed in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
Other duties include:
* Completion of storing and returning of daily drivers log book records
* Track Drivers Weekly Report book whilst recording any mileage, locations, fuel checks, vehicle maintenance.
* Recording any defects and reporting them to the Transport department at NDC
What You’ll Bring
* A working knowledge of the Highway Code, Vehicle Daily Checks and Drivers Domestic Hours Rules is required
* A clean Driving Licence, Classes 1, 2 and light goods, HGV and CITB Hiab crane qualifications
