Essential Responsibilities:
1. Lead several process workstreams through explorations, gap analysis, integration planning, execution, and problem solving
2. Identify finance-related risks and partner with cross-functional teams to mitigate the identified risks
3. Discuss finance/accounting concepts with others across the organization
4. Lead and drive execution of plans and influence where you do not have direct authority through strong interpersonal skills
5. Proactively engage, evaluate, and drive resolution of potential conflicts between various Finance and non-Finance functions
6. Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
7. Work collaboratively with workstream leads and subject matter experts to arrive at risk-based approaches related to tactical execution steps
8. Comfort with problem solving and creative solutioning
Expected Qualifications:
9. 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:
10. A recognized professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is an advantage
11. Understanding of the UK regulatory environment, particularly safeguarding obligations
12. Experience engaging directly with auditors, regulators, and senior management
13. Market knowledge of existing and competing payments products and UK retail financial services is an advantage
