It’s crucial that as a collective, our employees, volunteers and the general public have all the tools they need to safely and effectively manage emergency events.</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>State Bushfire Mitigation Team manages vegetation treatments on Unallocated Crown Land and Unmanaged Reserves across the Perth metropolitan area and all gazetted townsites in Western Australia. The Mitigation Program Coordinator is an office-based role responsible for the effective allocation of resources, including personnel, plant and contractors, and ensures all activities are scheduled and delivered utilising our online system in a timely and compliant manner. Working with internal and external stakeholders, the position contributes to planning, program analysis and reporting of mitigation activities.</p><p>We are looking for applicants who have:</p><ul><li>Work program scheduling and resource coordination</li><li>Program evaluation, analysis and reporting capability</li><li>Research initiatives, agreements and briefing notes</li><li>Bushfire mitigation planning and technical expertise</li><li>Stakeholder engagement, coordination and communication</li></ul><p>Leadership Behaviours are applicable to this role, and you are expected to demonstrate the relevant behaviours aligned to the context of Personal Leadership Additional details on expected behaviours are attached.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a rewarding and meaningful role contributing directly to the reduction of fuel loads and improving community safety across the state.</p><p>Sound like you and want to know more?
