More detail about the role The post holder will be an autonomous and independent practitioner who is able to provide a holistic approach to individuals that attend the Emergency Department. Ideally, a candidate who had experience in an emergency setting. The work and pace can be challenging, there will be plenty of opportunity to put organisational skills into practice as well as the expert clinical skills needed. Our Emergency Department is a busy high performing unit which has nearly 100,000 attendances per year. We have now completed our department rebuild. We have an 8 bedded purpose-built resus 2 bays of which are dedicated paediatric bays. We also have a 15 bedded Majors area; a Minors area with 6 cubicles, 4 side rooms and 1 eye room. We also recently opened a bespoke childrens ED which has 5 cubicles and 2 See & Treat rooms and a child friendly waiting room. In addition to this, we have a modern reception and waiting area for patients. We are a friendly and diverse team that strives to deliver quality patient care.


Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, shift work to include weekends and bank holidays, either long days, nights or shorter shifts. Interview Date: To Be Confirmed.
