Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* QCF Level 5 Diploma in Childcare Learning and Development (Management).
* Two years’ experience working in an early years setting.
* One years’ experience leading and supervising a team.
Desirable Skills
* BA in Early Years Childhood Studies or equivalent.
* Two years previous experience leading and supervising members of staff gained in an early years setting.

Salary - NJC Scale, Point 7-11 (£25,584-£27,269) per annum pro rata. Hours: 37 hours per week, variable working pattern. Tenure: Fixed term until 31 October 2026 with a possible extension. The role As Deputy Manager you will ensure children attending the Daycare programmes have the best start in life by providing a safe, welcoming, high quality, inclusive early education environment, working to improve the ability to learn, improve health and social development of children, ante-natal to four years of age.
