Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Scotland, East Ayrshire or Blackburn, Lancashire

Job Duties
* Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace and aviation applications
* Create detailed electrical schematics and drawings
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity
* Perform electrical calculations and simulations
* Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Proven experience in electrical design within the aerospace or aviation industry
* Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design within the aerospace or aviation industry
Knowledge and Skills
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components
* Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
* Professional Engineering (PE) licence
* Experience with aircraft electrical systems
Working Conditions
This role is based in an office setting within the aerospace and aviation industry. Some travel may be required for on-site inspections and meetings. The position involves regular full-time hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines
