Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and enjoy working in a busy but friendly team? We're looking for confident and approachable Customer Service Advisor who will specialise in Food, Health and Safety to support our Customer Services and Environmental Health Teams at Brynsworthy Environment Centre.
You'll be helping customers over the phone and via email, supporting the delivery of the Food Health and Safety service and responding to a wide range of Environmental Health queries. You will monitor the services inboxes, creating and assigning worksheets following RIDDOR notifications, infectious disease notifications, water disconnections, sampling results, formal consultation requests from the Licensing Service, complaints and any other associated requests for service.
To succeed in this role, you'll need strong written and verbal communication skills, sound decision-making abilities, and a calm, helpful manner.
You should therefore have at least 12 months' of customer service experience; 4 GCSEs (Grade 4 or above) or equivalent and be confident using various IT systems. A good understanding of Food, Health and Safety would be an advantage and knowledge of equal opportunities and data protection is also important. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you
