We are currently seeking a Service Writer to join our dedicated team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in automotive or RV service writing who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule appointments, take service orders, and process payments
* Greet customers, assess service needs, and provide accurate cost estimates
* Maintain communication with customers throughout the service process
* Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and high-quality service completion
* Perform post-service walk-throughs with customers
* Keep detailed service records and documentation
* Prep parts and materials for dealer shipments
* Ship parts using USPS, UPS, and FedEx software
* Assist with dealer order pulls and prep
Qualifications:
* 3–5 years of experience as a Service Writer (auto, RV, or camper industry preferred)
* Strong customer service and sales background, preferably in RV or automotive environments
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; general computer literacy
* Basic understanding of accounting and electronic payment systems
* Professional and friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
* RV or mechanical knowledge preferred
* Basic power tool experience a plus
* Familiarity with LEAN, 5S, or quality systems a bonus (not required)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and estimating
* Strong organizational and time management skills
