Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves working with various hand and power tools, as well as irrigation systems, to ensure the health and beauty of our gardens and outdoor spaces.
Duties
* Maintain gardens and landscaped areas through regular upkeep, including weeding, pruning, and planting.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various gardening tasks.
* Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of plants and lawns.
* Monitor plant health, identifying pests or diseases and taking appropriate action.
* Assist in the design and layout of new garden areas, incorporating horticultural principles.
* Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing basic repairs as needed.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of garden aesthetics.
Requirements
* Proven experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred.
* Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems.
* Strong attention to detail with a passion for plant care and outdoor environments.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
