We are looking for Full or Part Time Medical Receptionists to bean integral part of our Patient SupportTeam. We have 2 Medical Practicescovering Centraland North Leeds (Woodhouse and Chandos) and the role will be operating in bothsites covering opening hours of 8am-6.30pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will be hardworking and enthusiasticindividual, provide high standards of care, reception and administrativesupport and be an effective communicator.A flexible approach to working is essential and as a practice we will be flexible with the employees needs. Woodhouse Medical Practice Reports to: Business Services Manager
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessingthe appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficientand effective way.
Provide general assistance, administration andoperational support to the practice team and project a positive and friendlyimage to visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Scanning documents in medicalrecords including coding
Reception
Consulting with members ofpractice team Advise patients ofrelevant charges for private services, accept payment and issue receipts
Ensure security of practicepremises and contents
Use own judgement, resourcefulness, common senseand local knowledge, to respond to patients enquiries and requests
Inthe course of seeking treatment, patients entrust us with, or allow us togather, sensitive information in relation to their health and othermatters.
