Position Summary:

Working independently and collaboratively, this position plays an integral role in executing our mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. All employees are expected to uphold high standards of trust, integrity, and ethics, and promote a culture of safety by following all safety procedures, protocols, and guidelines to minimize risks of property damage and injury.

This role will support the Director of FP&A in forecasting and financial planning activities, including annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly analysis, and ad-hoc projects. Responsibilities also include preparing presentations and capital expenditure analyses. The position acts as a consultant to teams, leaders, and finance members to support optimal business decision-making.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions require timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks, adjusting for changing priorities, demonstrating initiative, and identifying additional tasks when possible.

* Support the annual operating plan preparation, review, analysis, and implementation, ensuring goals and timelines are met.
* Initiate capital expenditure processes, prepare financial models, and justify CapEx requests.
* Update rolling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, including cash flows, using Excel and financial reporting tools.
* Align business metrics with segment and corporate objectives and track performance.
* Support predictive analysis tools and modeling to improve forecast accuracy.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing quarterly segment reporting packages and bridges.
* Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities for finance operations, leading problem-solving efforts when necessary.
* Ensure accuracy of financial reporting tools.
* Facilitate working capital and cash flow forecasts.
* Perform ad-hoc analysis for special projects as needed.
* Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, including internal controls design and effectiveness assessments.

Availability Requirements:

This role requires regular on-site presence with a hybrid schedule, approximately 40 hours per week, including participation in meetings and availability for emergencies outside normal hours. Overtime may be required to meet departmental needs.

Required Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
* Knowledge of process improvements using current technology.
* Experience in developing professional presentations for diverse audiences.

Required Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to interpret and evaluate written instructions, documents, and engineering drawings.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs), and variance analysis skills.
* Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, maintaining professionalism under stress.

* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, leading projects when necessary.
* Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
* Effective communication and respectful interaction with all contacts.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to communicate effectively in person and via technology.
* Prolonged periods working at a computer and operating office equipment.
* Ability to move within the workplace, including stairs and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment:

* Primarily office environment with occasional exposure to shop environments, loud noises, cold temperatures, and chemicals.

Tools and Equipment:

Personal computer, office equipment, Microsoft Office, and financial reporting systems.
