Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer (C&I) to help us deliver high-integrity control systems that meet performance and safety standards. The role involves working within our product development team, understanding high-level system requirements, and refining these for hardware, software, and electronic product design. You will collaborate with product owners and development teams using agile Scrum methods to develop high integrity software and FPGA-based applications. Training will be provided as needed.
Key Accountabilities:
* Specify product requirements and coordinate with design teams and vendors.
* Refine system requirements for hardware, software, and electronic design.
* Manage system requirements and traceability through product development stages.
* Verify final product design against requirements.
* Contribute to improving system development processes and quality.
* Understand controls engineering technologies and allocate requirements accordingly.
* Work closely with Product Owners to define product specifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience in architecture design, V&V, and requirements analysis.
* Experience in FPGA design (VHDL or Verilog).
* Knowledge of PLC development and industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens).
* Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
* Awareness of safety-critical development standards (e.g., DO-178B/C, IEC60880, IEC61508).
