We’re currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us at our Penicuik branch on a full-time permanent basis. Want to know more about us? Our practice is well equipped with digital x-rays, dental x-rays and ultrasound. We offer laparoscopic spays and orthopaedic surgeries at our main surgery in Musselburgh. Client and patient care are our main focus and we do that by offering a friendly and supportive environment to work in. We are a nurse training practice and have the tools in place to develop our nursing team. About The Role Your role will involve: Patient care post op and day hospitalisation General anaesthetic and sedation preparation and monitoring Surgical prep of operation rooms and patients Laboratory duties Infection control Care and maintenance of equipment Nurse consultations About You We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who values teamwork and is committed to delivering excellent patient care. Working Hours This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week over 4 days. The shifts will be on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 8:30am-7:00pm. You will also participate in the weekend rota which will be 1 in 5 weekends with a day off in lieu in line with our work life balance ethos.
