Job Description About the Opportunity Join a prestigious Employment team that operates at the forefront of employment law, handling complex, high-profile matters for both employers and senior executives. This leading practice regularly appears in the Employment Appeal Tribunal, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court, working on cases that raise the most important legal questions of the day. The role • Advise clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including discrimination, restrictive covenants, and HR advisory work • Handle TUPE transfers, unfair dismissal cases, redundancies, and settlement agreement negotiations • Manage data theft cases, confidential information misappropriation, and employment aspects of corporate transactions • Represent clients in Employment Tribunal, High Court, and appellate court proceedings • Work with clients across financial services, fashion, luxury goods, retail, recruitment, media, sport, and life sciences sectors • Maintain high levels of direct client contact with both individuals and businesses • Engage in business development activities to develop practice and profile • Collaborate with Partners and Associates across the full spectrum of employment law • Handle contractual disputes and employment-related legal issues • Provide strategic litigation advice on complex employment matters What We're Looking For • 3-5 years PQE in employment law from a reputable practice • Strong academic record with excellent attention to detail • Solid transactional, advisory, and litigation experience • Experience representing both corporates and individuals (desirable) • Excellent writing and drafting abilities • Ability to manage own workload effectively in a client-facing role • Strong communication skills at all levels • Personable, confident, and relationship-building focused • Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach What's on offer • Competitive salary: Up to £65,000 - £80,000 per annum • Work on high-profile, complex employment matters • Exposure to Supreme Court and appellate level cases • Flexible and agile working arrangements • Supportive team environment with career progression • Business development opportunities • Work across diverse sectors including financial services and luxury goods • High levels of partner interaction and client contact About Us This leading international law firm employs over 1,400 people with 650 lawyers across multiple jurisdictions.
