Workday Compensation Lead
Location: Bristol - Hybrid
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Elevation HR are working with a growing professional services business to hire a Reward Systems & Process Lead to take ownership of how their reward and benefits processes actually run.
This isn’t a BAU role. You’ll be spotting what’s not working, cutting out the noise, and making processes run properly.
What you’ll be doing:
* Improving reward & benefits processes and the tech that supports them
* Getting the most out of Workday (Advanced Compensation) to drive better, simpler ways of working
* Working closely with stakeholders and external partners to turn requirements into practical system solutions
* Leading on testing, troubleshooting, and rolling out changes
* Supporting HR and Reward teams so they understand and use new processes properly
* Keeping an eye on performance and feedback to keep things moving forward
* Making sure everything lines up with policy and regulation
You’ll also:
* Continue to develop Workday Advanced Compensation, with a focus on automation and better use of data
* Partner with HR Analytics to build out compensation reporting
* Support the evolution of compensation structures in Workday
* Get involved in wider reward tech, including benefits platforms
* Keep process documentation clear, current, and actually useful
* Work alongside programme teams and external partners to deliver system improvements
What we’re looking for:
* Experience improving HR processes in a Reward & Benefits environment
* Strong working knowledge of Workday Advanced Compensation
* Someone who’s led process improvement in a complex business
* Comfortable working with stakeholders and translating technical detail into plain English
* Analytical, detail-focused, and proactive in solving problems
* Good understanding of governance, compliance, and process standards
* Exposure to automation, workflows, or digital transformation
