We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer with hands-on experience in CO₂ systems to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to expand their expertise, as full training will be provided in ammonia (NH₃) refrigeration systems. You’ll be working on a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability. Key Responsibilities * Install, service, maintain, and repair CO₂ refrigeration systems * Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations * Accurately complete service reports and documentation * Participate in on-call rota (if applicable) * Undertake training and development in ammonia refrigeration systems Requirements * Proven experience working with CO₂ refrigeration systems * Relevant refrigeration / HVAC qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) * F-Gas certification (essential) * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence * Willingness to learn and develop ammonia refrigeration skills Desirable (Not Essential) * Previous experience with ammonia (NH₃) systems * Experience in industrial refrigeration environments * Electrical qualifications ...
