_*What we're looking for.*_
Roadtrain are currently looking to recruit LGV C+E (Class 1) Tramper Drivers to our UK operation.
Our ideal candidate will be interested in long term employment evidenced by their work history, will have a can do, go anywhere attitude, be able to night out, be motivated to getting the job done and be able to provide a reference from a previous employer of at least 12 months employment.
Based at our depot in Bootle, the role is Monday - Friday day work with some weekends and end of week Saturday run ins when necessary. It is essential that you are able to do the required nights out.
All applicants must hold a full C+E LGV licence (Class 1), have a current Driver CPC qualification. Experience of driving curtain-side unit & trailer combinations is an advantage.
All applicants must be over 25 and have held a C+E licence for 2 years and have 1 years experience.
_*Whats on offer.*_
We are offering a competitive £41618 Basic Salary, paid weekly, employer pension contribution, plus £52 per week, £2705 per year performance bonus based on getting all the basics right i.e. Vehicle Checks, Paperwork, Driver Hours, Looking After Your Vehicle, Customer Service etc.
\*The £500 signing bonus will be paid after 6 months good service. We will also offer a further bonus of £500 if you can successfully recommend a suitable friend who stays with us after both have completed 6 months. They will also qualify for the initial signing bonus.
Overnight subsistence is paid at £25 per night.
Take home pay per full week including night out payments, bonus and after deductions is approximately £750 per week.
20 days paid leave and eight days bank holiday's each year.
Full uniform, PPE, DCPC and relevant training.
