Vacancy:
We are currently recruiting a Registered Children's Home Manager for a 2 bedded children’s residential care home in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the overall running of the children’s home. We are looking for an experienced manager who is a natural leader who can lead the staff team ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
You will have a previous experience of working in a residential setting, a good understanding of Ofsted as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, recruitment, staff training, supervisions, implementing safeguarding policies and procedures, and addressing any concerns promptly.
What you’ll bring:
* Hold a QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
* Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a Registered Children’s Home setting in supervisory role.
* Substantive experience in a managerial role including supervisory experience.
* Thorough understanding of the regulations and legislations which set the standards within a Children’s Home setting
* Proven track record with Ofsted
* Ability to work closely with Responsible Individual and key individuals within the strategic partnership
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Enhanced DBS on the update service
