Offer description

Overview

The post will have responsibility for dealing with cases of Anti-social behaviour (ASB). Anti-social behaviour can have a serious impact on those affected. The role focuses on acting to stop anti-social behaviour through a mixture of enforcement and support. This is an exciting role where a positive impact can be made to individuals, and reduce harm within our communities.

Responsibilities

* Deal with cases of Anti-social behaviour (ASB) and take a harm-centred approach to improve the quality of life of those affected.
* Work closely with all teams within BCP Anti Social Behaviour Team to ensure victims are supported and identify vulnerabilities.
* Work as part of a multi-agency team with partners such as Dorset Police and health providers.
* Use tools and powers under the Anti Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 where appropriate for serious or persistent ASB.

The Ideal Candidate

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-agency environment with our residents and communities to address issues which are causing the greatest harm. Candidates will have experience in an ASB-related setting dealing with complex and challenging issues. Please detail how you meet each element of the job description and provide examples of how your skills and experience satisfy the essential and desirable requirements to support shortlisting.

Should you have any questions or would like an informal chat about the role, please contact Francesca Janes at francesca.janes@bcpcouncil.gov.uk
