Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves supporting food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and delivering excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, catering, and providing exceptional dining experiences. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
* Assist in meal preparation and food presentation in accordance with company standards
* Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs as needed
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
* Help with catering orders and special event setups
* Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
* Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner when required
* Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
* Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is advantageous but not mandatory
* Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
* Basic cooking and meal preparation skills
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Enthusiasm for culinary arts and customer service excellence
* Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
