Location- Ruddington, Nottingham Level - Support Role Department - Legal & Compliance Working Pattern - Full Time 3 days a week in office ( Tues - Thurs) Benefits - Benefits at Ideagen Salary - To be discussed at next stage This is a contract‑focused support role within Ideagen’s Legal team, providing hands‑on assistance with the review, coordination, and governance of sales and commercial contracts. As well as leading leading negotiations, the role supports the business by ensuring contracts are accurate, compliant, and aligned with approved terms and policies. You’ll work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Procurement to help agreements move forward smoothly and correctly. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys working through contracts in detail, supporting commercial teams, and operating within structured processes to manage risk. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating sales and commercial contracts against approved templates, pricing, and policies Supporting amendments and coordinating approvals with Legal, Sales, Finance, and Procurement Identifying non‑standard terms and escalating risks appropriately Maintaining and updating standard contract templates and clause libraries Supporting contract lifecycle administration and record‑keeping Acting as a point of contact for internal queries relating to commercial terms and processes Assisting with compliance checks and internal governance requirements Supporting process improvement initiatives within Legal & Compliance A law degree, legal studies, or equivalent experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial operations Experience reviewing or administering commercial contracts in a business environment Comfortable working to policies, templates, and approval frameworks Strong attention to detail and confidence reviewing contractual terms Clear written and verbal communication skills Organised, dependable, and comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders Interest in developing expertise in commercial contracts and risk management About Ideagen Ideagen is the invisible force behind many things we rely on every day - from keeping airplanes soaring in the sky, to ensuring the food on our tables is safe, to helping doctors and nurses care for the sick.
