We're working with a well-established engineering business delivering highly regulated, technically complex projects across critical infrastructure environments.
They're now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of long-term, high-value programmes where delivery, precision and stakeholder coordination are key.
This is a hands‑on role with real ownership from day one.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading end-to-end delivery of complex engineering projects
* Managing detailed project plans (including MS Project schedules, milestones and dependencies)
* Coordinating across internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders
* Managing budgets, risks and overall project performance
* Identifying issues early and driving practical solutions
* Building and developing your own project team
What we're looking for:
* Strong experience delivering projects within an engineering or technical environment
* Background in sectors such as power, utilities, infrastructure, marine or similar
* Confident managing stakeholders at all levels
* Proven ability to manage complex timelines and competing priorities
* Comfortable working in structured, regulated environments
Essentials:
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Proven Project Management experience
* Strong MS Project / MS Office skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Must hold British citizenship due to the nature of the work and required pre-employment screening checks (including BPSS)
Desirable:
* PRINCE2, PMP or similar
