Position Details
* Position: Casual Visitor Engagement Assistant
* Shift Patterns: Monday to Sunday, 10:00 - 18:00 (8.2 hrs a day)
* Pay: £14.88 per hour
* Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links
* Requirements: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a visitor-facing role
Responsibilities
Visitor Service and Engagement On-site
* Represent the client professionally, maintaining a smart appearance and providing a warm welcome to visitors across various locations within the museum.
* Staff the Visitor Engagement points effectively.
* Assist visitors in maximizing their experience by responding to enquiries about collections, buildings, events, and services.
* Address face-to-face complaints and feedback promptly and appropriately.
* Welcome booked school groups, group leaders, and families.
* Bid farewell to visitors, seek feedback, and encourage repeat visits.
Visitor Communications
* Coordinate with other departments regarding visitor information, ticketing, and membership content to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
* Contribute to shaping visitor information materials, ensuring a professional and consistent tone that reflects the client’s brand and meets visitor needs.

Minimum Qualifications
