Senior Carer:
Oakwood Care Home are currently looking to recruit Night Senior Carer Assistants that want to make a real difference to our resident's quality of life in one of our new purpose built homes.
It is the care, understanding and empathy of our care team that make all the difference to our residents' day-to-day life. We are looking to recruit team leaders to join our team and help us enhance the quality of life for our residents' by giving them a home-from-home environment and creating a second family for our elderly clients.
Shift Patterns:
Weekend work included in your rota (one weekend on and one weekend off)
19:45-08:00
Who we are looking for:
You are an experienced leader. You are able to show empathy and patience whilst assisting our residents, ensuring all their needs are met. You will have medication administering experience. You will understand the importance of documentation and review care plans where necessary. You will be confident to talk to families about their loved ones and promote strong relationships between our care home and resident families. You will lead a team by example and promote strong relationships within the Home.

We are a newly refurbished/rebuilt care home based in Erdington,
We provide care of the elderly, including Dementia and Palliative Care. We aspire to create an environment conducive to wellbeing with good communication between residents, resident's families and our team.

Established in 1983, we are a quality care provider registered with CQC in Birmingham. We work in partnership with surrounding local authorities and CCG's to provide good quality care for the elderly.
Our overall purpose of Oakwood is to provide our residents with the highest standard of care, comfort and security. Promoting independence where possible.
