We're working with an exceptional specialist school in the Wokingham area that provides high-quality education for students aged 4-19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH), and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN).

Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher to join a dedicated and supportive team. The role is suitable for both qualified teachers (QTS) and unqualified candidates looking to develop their skills in a specialist SEN setting.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, practical Science lessons across KS3-KS4 (and up to age 19).
* Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets.
* Foster curiosity, resilience, and a love of discovery in every student.
* Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team including therapists and behaviour specialists.
* Support the school's mission to help students achieve their full potential.
A full handover and structured induction programme will ensure you feel confident and supported from day one.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Enthusiasm for Science and a genuine desire to make learning exciting and accessible.
* A calm, patient, and positive approach to supporting young people.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for every learner.
* Willingness to work towards QTS or additional specialist SEN training (for unqualified applicants).
