We are looking for a Staff Nurse to work at Llandovery Community Hospital, providing rehabilitation and palliative care to patients from the area, under GP direction, and to patients further afield under the care of a Consultant.
Llandovery Hospital has 15 inpatient beds, an outpatient department, and works closely with General Practitioners and a Consultant Doctor from Glangwili General Hospital. It is a dedicated team, especially skilled in collaborative working due to its rural setting. We welcome new staff and look forward to utilizing their skills to enhance patient care.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking Band 5 Registered Nurses at Llandovery Hospital, Carmarthenshire, on a permanent basis. This will expand our team to develop new services and meet community needs.
Various full-time and part-time hours are available, including day and night shifts.
Welsh language skills are desirable; applications from English and/or Welsh speakers are encouraged.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Knowledge
* Current NMC registration
* Degree in Nursing
* Evidence of post-registration training (e.g., POVA, Child Protection)
* Intermediate Life Support certification if required
Experience
* Experience in holistic nursing care
* Understanding of clinical governance
* Ability to implement evidence-based practice

This role requires a DBS check, as per the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
Salary ranges from £31,516 to £38,364 annually (pro-rata for part-time).
