* Be the organised hub keeping SHW systems, reporting and governance running smoothly
* Use your systems and tech strengths to improve data, processes and coordination
* Grow in safety, health and wellbeing with support to learn or gain qualifications
We’re looking for an Advisor – Safety, Health and Wellbeing to join our supportive People and Culture team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, has strong organisational and systems skills, and is interested in safety, health and wellbeing. You might already have experience in this space, be keen to grow into it, or be happy building depth and confidence at this level.
This role plays a key part in supporting our Safety, Health and Wellbeing team to operate smoothly and effectively. You’ll coordinate activities, maintain and improve our systems, support governance and reporting, and help ensure our safety and wellbeing information is accurate, accessible and well managed.
What you’ll be doing
In this role you will:
* Coordinate Safety, Health and Wellbeing activities, meetings and governance forums, including agendas, minutes and follow-ups
* Maintain and champion our safety and wellbeing systems, including reporting, data quality and document control
* Support reporting and insights that help leaders understand risks, trends and opportunities
* Coordinate training, inductions and capability activities alongside the SHW team
* Support audits, risk register reviews and contractor safety processes
* Keep things running smoothly through strong administration, planning and communication
You don’t need to already be qualified in safety and health, although this would be beneficial. If you’re keen to work towards a qualification over time, we’re able to support that. This role would suit someone who wants to grow, or someone who enjoys being a reliable expert in coordination and systems.
You’ll bring:
* Experience as a coordinator or advisor in Safety, Health and Wellbeing, or similar transferable skills
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities with care and attention
* Confidence using systems and technology, with an interest in improving how they work
* A practical, detail-focused approach with good follow-through
* Clear, friendly communication and the ability to work well with a wide range of people
* An interest in safety, health and wellbeing, or a desire to learn more in this space
