Admin Assistant – Full Time (Office Based)

Marcon Construction are delighted to be recruiting for a highly organised and efficient Admin Assistant to provide essential administrative support within our busy office environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing correspondence, coordinating schedules, and supporting the wider team with a variety of clerical duties. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering exposure to multiple areas of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and previous office experience to contribute to a professional and dynamic team.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for calls, visitors, customers, and site access
* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and post
* Oversee day-to-day office operations, systems, filing, and document control
* Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars
* Prepare documents, reports, and site folders
* Order office supplies, monitor stock levels, and coordinate deliveries
* Maintain a clean and tidy office environment, ensuring the office remains organised and professional
* Provide general administrative support to team members
* Support team members with ad hoc tasks
Requirements
* Previous office or administrative experience (construction industry experience advantageous)
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
* Experience with data entry and general clerical duties
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Good typing speed and accuracy
* Professional telephone manner and strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
This is a full-time, office-based role. Please note this position does not offer remote or hybrid working.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
