We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Chemist to join our team. The production chemist will play a key role ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of chemical products in compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage daily chemical production processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
* Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of production processes, test results, and materials handling.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement timely solutions.
* Monitor and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Assist in the development and improvement of production methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at all times.
* Train and support production staff on best practices in chemical handling and production processes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proven ability to work hard and stay focused under pressure to meet production deadlines.
* Knowledge of chemical manufacturing protocols, safety standards, and best practices.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, for record-keeping and reporting is a plus.
* Previous experience in a chemical production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Pay range and compensation package
* Salary £40,000 - £50,000
