Join Our Team as a Client Money Team Leader Are you ready to take the lead in ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and fostering collaboration in a dynamic financial services environment? We’re looking for a Client Money Team Leader to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing client money operations in line with FCA CASS 5 regulations. As the Client Money Team Leader, you’ll oversee and support the preparation of client money calculations for regulated entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure adherence to FCA rules, remediate breaches, and drive process enhancements. Your leadership will be key in guiding the team, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring continuous improvement in processes and controls. Flexibility with working hours may be required to meet business needs. How you'll make an impact Oversee and manage the daily preparation of client money calculations, ensuring compliance with CASS regulations. Maintain accurate records of processed calculations to uphold regulatory standards. Review and approve transfer forms and checklists for surplus/deficit calculations before processing. Monitor post-transfer checks to confirm accurate money transfers on the same business day. Stay informed of business changes impacting calculations and align the team accordingly. Ensure process and procedure documentation is maintained and updated. Support monthly reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Liaise with external auditors, providing necessary support and documentation. Champion effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Client Money team. Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations across all business activities. Undertake ad hoc tasks to support the team and manager. About You Proven experience in Financial Services, with insurance experience preferred. Strong leadership and excellent communication skills to engage team members and stakeholders effectively. Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs. Professional demeanour and presentation. Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.Analytical problem-solving approach. Proactive, initiative-driven, and results-oriented with a ‘can do’ attitude.
