Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced HR / Total Rewards Project Manager to lead the coordination of a compliance and operational readiness programme for the EU Pay Transparency Directive. This is a critical interim role supporting the development of a robust governance framework and the coordination of complex workstreams across multiple EU territories.
Responsibilities
Governance & Project Management
* Support the Project Steering Committee, ensuring alignment between Total Rewards (TR), People Engagement & Solutions Function (PESF), and People Partner representatives.
* Develop and maintain the comprehensive project plan, and RACI matrix to ensure cross-functional collaboration and oversight.
* Manage stakeholders across the People Team, to ensure delivery in accordance with the project plan.
* Implement and lead update cadences and provide insight to all relevant stakeholders as required.
* Assist the TR team in collecting the inventory of payroll and benefits data across 15 EU territories, ensuring collection of all pay elements (fixed, variable, and non-cash) and then partnering with the PESF team to ensure that these are captured within Workday.
* Coordinate updates to recruitment transparency policies, including the removal of salary history inquiries and the mandate for salary range disclosures in job postings.
* Organise and support the content development of employee resources (FAQs, guides) and training programmes for managers to handle pay transparency discussions.
* Operationalise / socialise the methodology for GPG calculation and reporting once this has been developed in accordance with each member country’s legislative requirements.
* Coordinate the creation and testing of Workday reports for GPG calculation with internal People Technology team.
Talent Framework Alignment
* Ensure the project aligns seamlessly with the ongoing Talent Frameworks rollout and the November 2026 Workday visibility milestone for job tracks and levels.
* Engage with EU-based People Partners as needed for example to collate data inventory, provide project updates, disseminate information regarding comms and training etc.
* Act as the primary point of contact for selected vendors if additional external project advice is required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience leading & executing complex projects within a global HR or Total Rewards context.
* Highly organised and efficient, preferably with the Google ecosystem, and influential in managing multi-country scheduling, driving milestone attainment and tracking results across project roles.
* Understanding of the EU Pay Transparency Directive requirements and how to operationalise policy into HRIS for efficient business processes and user experience (specifically Workday).
* Experience managing external consulting vendors.
* Proven experience in managing HCM data and excellent data literacy and the ability to track highly technical workstreams involving pay equity analytics.
