Working in a secondary school is one of the best ways to gain hands-on classroom experience before committing to teacher training. We are currently supporting several schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast who are looking for graduates to join them in a variety of classroom-based roles.
Available Roles:
Cover Supervisor
Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and support learning
Ideal experience for those considering PGCE / teacher trainingTeaching Assistant
Support students in lessons and small groups
Work closely with teachers to help pupils access learning
Great for developing classroom and behaviour management skillsLearning Support Mentor
Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils
Help students with engagement, confidence, and wellbeing
Particularly suited to graduates interested in SEND, pastoral care, or psychologWho We're Looking For

A genuine interest in education and working with young people
Confident, reliable, and proactive individuals
Strong communication skills
