Junior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering & Utilities
Location: Battle, East Sussex
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Vector Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s expanding commercial team within the civil engineering and utilities sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with a strong eye for detail and commercial awareness to support high-profile infrastructure projects using cutting-edge and industry leading technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts
* Monitor project costs and drive profitability through cost control
* Manage contracts and support contract negotiations
* Support the Commercial Manager with dispute resolution and claims management
* Submit timely and accurate payment applications / invoices and manage variations
* Collaborate with project teams on financial reporting and forecasting

Requirements:
* Experience as a Junior Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Trainee QS within Civil Engineering, Drainage, or Utilities
* Knowledge of NEC, JCT, or similar contracts
* Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost management software
* HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineer or Construction Management (preferred)
* Full UK Driving Licence
