1. Starting salary negotiable pending experience with roughly £3,000 annual bonus potential paid monthly.

Our client, a large franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in the Kidlington/North Oxford region, requires a Parts Advisor to join their busy Parts Department.
Reporting to the Parts Manager and working as part of a friendly team, as a Parts Advisor you be responsible for dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries and sales, ensuring that all parts orders are accurately identified, promptly picked, and dispatched to the highest standard of customer service. You will primarily be working on the front of house dealing with customers face to face, via email, and over the phone, however, you will also be required to carry out parts stock control and supply parts to our client’s Vehicle Technicians in the workshop.
Do you need to have been a Parts Sales Advisor before? In short, no!
To be eligible for this position, it is preferable to have similar experience as a Parts Advisor in the motor trade (ideally with commercial vehicles). However, our client is open to considering candidates with no experience working in the motor trade provided they have a basic mechanical understanding of vehicles, are customer-focused, and are comfortable and confident communicating across all sales platforms i.e. face-to-face, telephone, email & webchats. IT literacy is also essential, as you will work daily with an electronic parts catalogue system.
