Casual Chef Warminster Contract:, Casual Salary: £20 Hours: per week A co-educational private boarding and day school in Warminster, Wiltshire for pupils aged three to eighteen. The schools consists of a Pre-Prep, prep and senior school. Catering for just under 1000 students with a core offer of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a lot of hospitality. As this is a boarding school, it operates 7 days a week, this is a casual contract supporting holidays and long term sickness, other location with in the Warminster arwa also availbale to support ROLE REQUIREMENTS (TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES) Under the direction of the head chef, prepare and produce food as directed using modern methods, equipment, and fresh food. Ensure that all food is cooked and served to the highest quality. Ensure that all food that is served is of a safe and appropriate temperature using probes and by recording this information. To undergo training in both formal courses and on the job training to develop cooking and organisational skills. Operate cleaning, dishwashing equipment when needed/requested. Properly clean and store equipment, service, preparation and storage areas. Complete all / any necessary cleaning/hygiene duties as directed by the team leader. Serve customers, clients, visitors and guests in line with Company and Client service standards and expectations as required. Empty, remove and store rubbish as required or when needed. Complete basic temperature monitoring of cooked food, refrigerators and freezers and record accurately on a daily basis. To complete the location cleaning schedule on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as determined by the schedule and directed by the team leader and any other duties you may be requested to complete by the location manager or Senior Thomas Franks employees.
