We’re now seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of a key territory – the South East of England – managing a portfolio of builders’ merchant accounts with a combined turnover of £2.2 million.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow sales across the South East region within an established merchant customer base.
* Develop strong relationships with branch managers, area contacts, and regional buying teams.
* Identify new business opportunities and drive growth within your territory.
* Deliver against sales targets, ensuring profitability and long-term customer satisfaction.
* Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including logistics and marketing, to deliver first-class service.
* Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and regional market trends.
✅ About You:
* Proven experience as a Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, or Regional Sales Manager – ideally within the builders’ merchant or DIY/home improvement sector.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage large customer accounts.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work autonomously in a field-based role.
* Full UK driving licence required.
