Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Contract: Term Time, Part Time, Permanent
Start Date: Monday 6th October 2025 or ASAP after appointment
The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who will be responsible for interventions, regular weekly class teaching, including covering PPA and short-term teacher absence. This will involve liaising with senior leaders and class teachers, planning, teaching from plans, and marking work in line with policy. This is an exciting opportunity for a person with good interpersonal skills, a calm approach, and a desire to make a difference.
Candidates will need to evidence they are working at the level of a HLTA either through completion of the HLTA qualification or experience of working as a HLTA including relevant training and assessment.
