Our client, based in Northampton, is seeking a reliable Driver’s Mate to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. You’ll receive full training on tail lift operation and handling cages, so no prior experience is necessary! Have you worked for DHL, Wincanton or Palletforce? Why you’ll love this role: * £13.00 per hour, which equates to approximately £585 per week based on a 45-hour week * Monday to Friday shifts with an early start at 6 am – enjoy your weekends free! * Temp to perm contract offering job security and career progression * Full training provided on tail lift use and handling cages – develop valuable new skills * Work with a friendly, supportive team in a well-established logistics environment What you’ll be doing: * Assisting the driver with loading and unloading deliveries, particularly cages of products * Performing some heavy lifting safely and efficiently * Ensuring products are handled with care during transportation * Operating tail lifts after training to facilitate smooth deliveries * Maintaining health and safety standards at all times * Supporting the delivery process to ensure timely and accurate drop-offs What we’re looking for: * A reliable and hardworking individual with a strong work ethic * Ability to start work at 6 am and commit to Monday to Friday shifts * Willingness to perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks * Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills * Good communication skills and a team player mindset Interested?
