Overview
Named Professional Think Family - Safeguarding Children role at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced practitioner to contribute to the implementation of the Think Whole Family Safeguarding Strategy in Luton and Bedfordshire. The post holder will work closely with other named professionals and senior management across the Trust to embed the Think Whole Family safeguarding strategy in every aspect of care delivery, providing corporate safeguarding support across the organisation with primary responsibility for Luton and Bedfordshire.

Responsibilities
* Lead and professionally guide safeguarding practice as a Level 4 Specialist Named Nurse/Professional role described in the Intercollegiate Documents (2024; 2019; 2020).
* Provide expert knowledge and health advice on safeguarding children to health care providers within Cambridgeshire Community Services to ensure consistent safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented in line with current legislation.
* Collaborate with the adult safeguarding team to embed the Think Whole Family approach across all practice within the Trust.
* Contribute to strategic planning and interagency work for safeguarding children in line with national and local requirements.
* Develop and maintain processes and procedures for safeguarding children, young people, and adults at risk of harm or abuse, ensuring prevention and safeguarding systems are in place and continually developed to minimise risk.
Qualifications
* Proven knowledge of safeguarding with experience in a safeguarding position.
* Ability to take a professional lead in provision of expert knowledge and advice on safeguarding for health care providers within the Trust.
* Experience in interagency collaboration and embedding safeguarding approaches across services.
