We are currently seeking to recruit an Events Manager to join the Commercial Training team at Stellantis Performance Academy in Coventry.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the end‑to‑end design, planning, and delivery of high‑impact automotive training and engagement events across multiple Stellantis brands.
This is a hands‑on, decision‑owning role. The postholder will take concepts and objectives and turn them into fully delivered, high‑quality live experiences with minimal supervision. Strategic direction and oversight will be provided, but this role exists to remove pressure, not add it. The Events Manager will be trusted to make informed decisions, manage stakeholders confidently, and ensure that events run professionally, safely, on time, and on brand.
You will ensure every event is delivered with confidence, consistency, and professionalism. Taking charge and owning the outcome, you will drive each event to success. This role calls for a proactive leader who thrives on decision‑making and delivering results – coordination alone is not enough.
Key Responsibilities
Event Design & Ownership
* Take ownership of event concepts from brief to live delivery, translating objectives into practical, well‑executed event plans
* Develop and present event proposals that align with brand identity, learning outcomes, and commercial priorities
* Make confident operational decisions, escalating only where strategic input is genuinely required
Planning & Logistics
* Lead venue and hotel sourcing, site visits, and supplier selection
* Build and maintain detailed event project plans, holding all contributors to deadlines and standards
* Manage all event logistics including accommodation, transport, vehicles, catering, AV, branding, assets, uniforms, and evening activities
* Ensure efficient preparation for live delivery, including packing, asset tracking, and post‑event reconciliation
Live Event Leadership
* Act as the operational lead onsite, running events with authority and clarity
* Coordinate trainers, crew, suppliers, and venues to ensure smooth delivery
* Resolve issues decisively and calmly under pressure
* Set clear expectations during build, live delivery, and de‑rig, ensuring assets are controlled and returned correctly
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for venues, hotels, suppliers, and onsite crews
* Build strong working relationships that enable delivery without constant escalation
* Work confidently with internal stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Ensure all events meet health and safety requirements
* Own risk assessments and compliance documentationactual
Jane Maintain a safe environment for staff, delegates, and visitors at all times
Vehicle, Site & Asset Oversight
* Coordinate the use of training and event vehicles where required
* Ensure event assets, branding, and equipment are stored, tracked, and maintained properly
* Support the delivery of a professional, high‑quality onsite experience at the Performance Academy
Financial & Administrative Control
* Track event budgets, costs, and supplier invoices
* Work closely with finance to ensure accurate and timely settlement
* Maintain organised event job folders and documentation
* Review post‑event feedback and proactively recommend improvements
About You
Essential
* Proven experience delivering complex events end‑to‑end, ideally in automotive, training, or multi‑stakeholder environments
* Strong operational judgement and confidence making decisions
* Ability to lead onsite with authority and professionalism
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
* Calm, resilient, and effective under pressure
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Commercial awareness and budget ownership experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends when required
Desirable
* Experience working across multiple brands or clients
* Familiarity with training or experiential events
* Working knowledge of AV and technical event solutions
* Experience managing suppliers and third‑party crews

Salary & Benefits

Stellantis Performance Academy in Coventry. Due to the nature of the role, travel will be required to other sites as required.
