Associate Mechanical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an established Associate Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplined M & E consultancy based in Brighton. The successful candidate will help lead their building services team and lead on numerous projects across all sectors of the built environment industry.
Role responsibilities include:
1. Manage the mechanical engineering team and help provide technical solutions for projects
2. Work alongside existing client as well as bring in new business opportunities through referrals
3. Mentor the more junior members of the team and help develop their careers
4. Take the lead on sustainable and mechanical strategies for projects as well as ensuring the design of these projects meet quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
5. Either working towards or have already achieved CIBSE chartership
6. Educational background within a Mechanical or Building Services Engineering field
7. Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a relevant role and the building services industry
8. Experience in taking the lead on multi-discipline projects as well as providing your expertise to an engineering team
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills
