MAINTAINING FUTURES
You'll need to have experience of grass cutting and shrub bed management, and the plant, equipment and Health & Safety associated with these tasks
As well as a background in grounds maintenance and horticulture you will also need to have a can-do attitude and enjoy working in all weather types that the UK seasons bring us!
You'll also need a full, UK driving licence.
A Few Key Points From Our Role Profile
* Undertake grounds maintenance duties; grass cutting, shrub bed management.
* Operate and maintain safely grounds maintenance plant and equipment: Ride on mower, pedestrian mower, brush cutter, hedge trimmer, powered blower (backpack & handheld), rotavator in accordance with training and manufacturers guidelines.
* Operate specialist grounds maintenance plant and equipment where competent to do so: chainsaw, brushwood chipper, stump grinder, tractor plus attachments.
* Assist with preparing previously maintained land to convert to wildflowers (rotavating, clearing, establishing free drainage, sowing and maintaining).
