Overview
Experienced Mental Health Social Worker (SO3) £39,862 - £45,091, 37 hours, full-time, permanent. Hybrid: Baker Street office and homeworking (office-based two days per week).
Your Role
Responsibilities:
* Complete Care Act assessments, support planning and risk assessments under the Care Act 2014.
* Complete mental capacity assessments when needed and prepare social circumstance reports.
* Work with the community mental health team and other health colleagues; collaborate in a team while able to work autonomously.
* Apply knowledge of the Mental Health Act and undertake safeguarding enquiries; work in a strengths-based approach.
About You
We are looking for a motivated social worker who can deliver person-centred care using strengths-based and asset-based approaches, maintaining independence of service users and linking to community resources. You should be qualified and experienced in mental health social work with knowledge and passion for the field.
